All of the stuff he was saying when he took Lauren and Dayoung shopping:

Lauren: “Thank you, Daddy.”

Joon: “Can you say that again please?”

Lauren: “Thank you, Daddy.”

Joon: “This must be why parents raise kids, for moments like these.”

And this, coming from Joon, who is very… careful, with money:

Joon: “I wanted to know how it’d feel to spend my money on my kids.”

And then when Lauren and Dayoung were changing into their new outfits (this is more paraphrased):

Joon: “When I get married… It’s kind of like your bride… Why am I getting embarrassed? Well, she’ll be wearing a wedding dress; Some kind of weird nervousness? I was feeling that. How will she look? Wearing clothes and shoes I picked out for her. My kids are coming out from the dressing room.”

And then when Mir didn’t know how to handle Leo asking for all of the toys, Joon said to remember what the child psychologist told him in episode 4… an episode Joon wasn’t in. Which reminds me, he recognized the doll that the psychologist used with Dayoung to get her to express her feelings.

He listens, he learns from his mistakes (he remembered not to point at Leo, too), and he’s freaking endearing to watch with the kids.

and in last week’s episode when he made the snack for the babies didn’t he remember from the 1st episode what Dayoung’s mom said her favorite snack was in the letter?
